The most conventional production mold is a single face mold where there is one parting line and cavitation can range from 2 or 4 cavities up 128 cavities.  Pelco has designed and produced single face molds for presses up to 1000 tons.  Single face molds can contain a variety of mold technologies such as unscrewing cores, side actions, and collapsing cores just to name a few.
